Vice Director Yang Ning of the General Administration of Sport of China Paid a Survey Visit to Genting Secret Garden

On January 22, a group of personnel paid a visit to Genting Secret Garden to inspect and guide the work there. The personnel include: Yang Ning, Vice Director and Member of the Party Leadership Group of the General Administration of Sport of China; Xi Hua, Head of the Discipline Inspection And Supervision Team of the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection stationed at the General Administration of Sport of China and Member of the Party Leadership Group; Ni Huizhong, Director of the Winter Sports Center and Secretary of Party Committee of the General Administration of Sport of China; Tong Lijin, Director of the Sports Department of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee; Liu Changjin, Secretary of the Discipline Commission of the Winter Sports Center of the General Administration of Sport of China; Yang Dong, Vice Director of the Winter Sports Center of the General Administration of Sport of China; Gao Wenjing, Director of the Discipline Inspection Group Office of the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection stationed at the General Administration of Sport of China; Xu Jianpei, Vice Governor of Hebei Province; Li Pu, Vice Secretary General of the People's Government of Hebei Province and Director of the Provincial Winter Olympic Office; Zhang Zefeng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Hebei Provincial Sports Bureau; Hui Jian, Secretary of Zhangjiakou Municipal Party Committee; Wu Weidong, Mayor of Zhangjiakou Municipal Government; Wang Biao, Standing Committee Member of Zhangjiakou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of Chongli District Party Committee; Guo Shigang, Vice Mayor of Chengde City; Zhao Zan, Director of Chongli District Government; Cao Jianwei, Vice Director of Chongli District Government; and others.

At Genting Secret Garden, the inspection group visited and greeted the coaches and athletes of national teams engaged in training here for snowboard halfpipe, freestyle halfpipe, freestyle aerials, slopestyle and ski-jumping competitions. The group encouraged the coaches and athletes to train hard and strive to make breakthroughs and achieve good results in the games. Yang Ning, on behalf of the General Administration of Sport of China, expressed gratitude to Genting for providing various protections to the national teams training here and said that the Administration will further increase support for Genting's preparatory work.

The next day, Yang Ning and his entourage visited the training base for aerials and the halfpipe of Genting Snow Park to watch the athletes’ training and listen to the report on the planning and construction of Genting Snow Park.
