From November 24 to 30, Yunding's winter stage will raise the curtain with its headline act—the 2025/26 FIS Freeski & Snowboard Big Air World Cup. As a FIS-certified premier event, renowned for athletes' extreme aerial flips and limit-pushing posture, it is hailed by fans as the "pinnacle of snow extreme sports," where every takeoff and landing is a visual spectacle. For an added surprise, if you stay in a slope-facing room at the Yunding Grand Hotel, you can unlock the ultimate "watch-from-your-room" experience, enjoying a front-row view of global sports stars competing on the slopes without even stepping outside!

From December 4 to 6, the highly anticipated THE SNOW LEAGUE will move its arena to Yunding Snow Park—the professional venue that witnessed the thrilling moments of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. This site will not only host the second stop of the league's inaugural season but will also welcome the global competitive debut of its freeski discipline. Following a hiatus for the 2026 Winter Olympics, the league will resume competition at Aspen Snowmass from February 26-28, 2026, with the season culminating in the Halfpipe at LAAX, Switzerland, from March 19-21, 2026, where the first-ever Snow League World Champions will be crowned.

From December 7 to 13, the competitive heat at Yunding continues to rise as the 2025/26 FIS Freeski & Snowboard Halfpipe World Cup takes over, initiating a new round of peak rivalry.

A highlight among winter events, the Halfpipe World Cup is always full of tension. Every run and every trick displayed carries the suspense of victory or defeat, with competition so fierce it's like "diamond cutting diamond." The participation of top star athletes like Eileen Gu elevates the excitement of this showdown even further, making it highly anticipated by snow sports fans worldwide.

If the previous three events represent the "dynamic explosion" in the snow world, then the Aerials event is the "static art" blending precision and elegance. From December 17 to 21, the 2025/26 FIS Freeski Aerials World Cup will make its grand finale appearance, perfectly concluding the epic season at Yunding.

China's Aerials team remains one of the strongest forces. Whether they can successfully defend their home turf is a question to be answered on the slopes.
